We recently contracted Lopez-Hernandez, Inc. to put in a decorative wall, plantings and Sylvester palm at our home. Our next door neighbors had contracted a different company to do their house, and after 4 months and loosing their 50% deposit, they could not get their original landscapers to finish their job. They contracted Lopez-Hernandez to finish the work that was started and left unfinished by their previous landscapers. Within 4 days, working from 7:00 AM to dark, Lopez-Hernandez transformed our neighbors corner lot into a beautiful oasis. It was their vision, dedication, and work ethic that caused us to speak with them about doing work at our home. On one hand they were not the low cost bidders, but they certainly were not the high cost bidders either. They are a 3 crew company, Pam the owner along with her husband and his brother. The only direction we gave Pam was that we indicated we wanted a palm in the front of our property and colorful plantings that would bloom throughout the majority of the year. She returned with her recommendations and we signed a contract and provided her with a 10% deposit. She indicated that work would start February 1 and would be completed by February 3. This plan included masonry walls in the front and curbing in the rear of our home, decorative lighting, installing new irrigation components, and burying the run off of our down spouts. She showed up at 7:15AM on Monday the day she indicated they would start and completed the job by mid-day on Wednesday. Pam took great care in reviewing proper care of our new palms and plantings, assuring us that as long as we followed her directions all would be guarantied for 1 year. Not only was the work completed on time and as promised, but they took great care in cleaning our property, driveway and street leaving everything in perfect order.

Agree with the above review, we used Lopez Hernandez for both the front and rear landscaping, all the plants (4 palms) dozens of smaller plants, and the decorative walls. We were well satisfied with the project. This was done about 6 months ago, and she is coming back in March for the fertilization. They can be reached at 305 360 7518 or 352 461 3463.
PS our neighbor had their rear patio and front landscaping done by the same firm and it came out real nice. I did not hear any complaints or concerns from them.
