Need recommendation for trimmer who knows how to trim large Oak tree

Good luck. Oak trees grow large. That’s their growth habit. Why any builder would plant them in a small residential lot is a mystery. Right plant, right place.

Depending on where you live (county) there maybe license requirements for tree trimmers, also, oaks are a protected tree, so be very careful on what your are proposing to do. IMHO, contact the master gardener and ask questions about doing this work before you start work.

Go to treesaregood.org "Click on Find an Arborist" There will be approved certified tree trimmers on that site.
