Default Need site prep for garage addition

Need bush root removal and sod removal in a 12x16 area. Anyone have some to suggest? Thanks

You mean your construction company is not clearing the area for construction, I find this very hard to believe. You need another contractor. IMHO, you will be leaving yourself open to fault, if there is a problem with the foundation of your addition. IMHO, the contractor should be responsible for ALL aspects of the project, including site prep, if they are not willing to do this run from this contractor.

Agree with Villagetinker let the contractor do it or find a new contractor. I see a not my fault there's coming!

I think you need the ground packed and probably some "foundation" soil too.

Since he has limited posts, might be considering this a DIY project? Someone should counsel the OP about the need to submit plans etc to the ARC before he starts his project. Getting the proper approvals and the proper permits and inspections will keep the OP safe, not getting any of those.....well, site prep will be the least of his issues.
