Default oak tree pruning

anyone recommend a person to trim a oak tree?

Please check with Community Standards, I do not have any Oak trees, put as I understand it, there are a protected tree, and there may be specific requirements on trimming. Also, be sure you have a licensed contractor, I think Lady Lake area requires this by law.

Trim an oak tree. The first question you need to think about is why you want to have it trimmed. If, for example you want to remove major branches that is one thing and were it me you probably should call an arborist-tree surgeon. Removing major branches from a large tree can case a weight imbalance and cause unwanted changes in the tree structure etc. If, the tree has termites for example you might need to have it remove .

If I had any oaks (which I don’t) I would trim any long branches straight out and any hanging over my house especially if had lot of spainish moss. I would also clean the eve drains out at least 3 times year.
