Default Recommendations for Bush Trimming

Can anyone recommend a resonable person or company to trim bushes? We just bought a villa and the yard needs work.

I thought this was misplaced and belonged in political too, but see it is our new friend Lisa, just trying to get her landscape trimmed up. We G's have a great guy named Earl and Sweetie is not here because he is the one who has his telephone number, but if you email Islandgal, she has it too.

I won't put it on here, so TH doesn't frown at me with all of the advertisers that pay and all.

Today Sweetie and I took on the ornamental grasses that really belong to Mr. Gary Morse et al.

We have a half wall behind our home and the lovely plantings there belong to the Odell Center and last week they weeded them but they kinda needed trimmed back a bit on our side and I already asked them to weed, so Sweetie and I trimmed them back with hand clippers. Not a quick job, but now the wall looks all spiffy and we have a feeling of accomplishment.

Back to Earl. He cuts our grass, trims and weeds ( I think by spraying kill-em stuff on them) all for fifty bucks a month. We have a small yard as those who have been to our home can attest.

Lisa...When are you coming by?

Hi Gracie-
Thanks so much for the recommendation. I just sent you an a pm. Sorry to everyone if they thought this was political. Just trying to get help on landscaping. As a newbie, you have to bring me along slowly.

Hi LisaJ, you did it perfectly. You are coming along just fine!

I have to admit, I saw "Bush" in the title and political was the first thing I thought too. I guess it's we old timers that need trimming around the edges.

Oh wait. No offense Gracie.

Sorry Lisa, that was my fault. I got a firm (but fair) kick in the butt from the benevolent administrator. I am now standing in the corner.

My wife just uses a small electric timmer. We have a corner lot with a lot of bushes so she does a section a week. It really does not take long to do but I will be the first one to hire someone if my wife did not do it.

That's "ok" Mulligan. Like I said, I'm a newbee to the correct forums and didn't think about my choice of words. All I could think about is how overgrown the bushes are.
