It is our pleasure to share the recent experiences we had contracting Ron’s Landscaping service. New to Florida, we had no knowledge of plants in this zone. We simply knew we wanted a couple focal pieces as well as color...all within our budget for this project.

We saw several homes around us in the new Village of Fenney getting landscaping done, but we were looking for something a bit different from the same old designs. After doing some research and after a couple estimates with other companies, we chose Ron’s Landscaping.

Note: Rons Landscaping is now owned by Mike Pregartner, a former employee who took over the business 4 years ago. Keeping the name and reputation was a smart decision on his part! Ron is still involved certain months of the year as a design consultant and we were fortunate to be on his schedule.

Ron sat with us and listened to what we thought we wanted. He examined the views from inside and outside our home to determine what and where trees should go. Ron suggested and showed us photos of some palms and flowering plants based on our desires and our budget. He drew up a simple plan showing each plant’s placement. He also offered to drive us to a couple other homes that were recently completed to better see his work. He nailed it!

We scheduled the start date and he contacted us a few days prior to confirm all was in place.

Mike and his crew (Luke, Mike, and David) arrived early as stated and the project began.

• Friendly, very approachable as we asked questions, explaining everything.
• They have a practice of not walking or rolling wheelbarrows over driveway.
• Cleaned everything up each day before leaving…brushing any errant dirt off walkways and driveway and hosing down same.
• Very precise in placing trees..Mike would actually move plants less than an inch to create symmetry!
• Relocated irrigation heads to accommodate lawn and landscaped beds..and added additional irrigation or bubblers as needed.
  
• Named and explained what care was needed for all the plants/trees.

• Provided us with a care sheet for the coming year..when to fertilize and with what products.
• Made appointment to return in two week to check plants/trees and readjust irrigation as needed.

In general, their attention to detail is like no other.
The reviews we read which led us to Ron’s Landscaping were on the money.
They provide quality service from start to finish.
