Up north I had a neighbor that used rubber mulch. Everytime there was a big rain, it would float out onto his driveway and he had a big cleanup job. Here in TV I had Terrascape, on 301 just south of Rainey Trail, put 10 tons of rock down in my CYV front and back when I had the grass removed and the pine straw removed. They'll put weed block down first and then the rocks.

We’ve had rubber mulch for many years & have no complaints.. I will say that what we put down is larger pieces & I’m not sure if it still available.

We use leaves as ground cover and there seems to be abundance of bags at end of driveways. Good for enviornment also.

What ever you choose, consider that black absorbs heat and could be detrimental plantings.

We has some rubber mulch when we lived up North in KC. Had a small fire the this stuff took off like crazy. Lucky I knew how to use a fire extinguisher! Got rid of it!!

We use black mulch, as noted above good for the garden and the plantings.
