Default Terrascapes

We just wanted to let you know how great our experience was with them. Megan was fabulous to work with, supervising our project from start to finish. She adjusted the plantings as she went along and let us know why! We had 5 estimates and she was about in the middle price wise but had very creative ideas. She and the staff that worked were efficient, and the work was done as promised on time. We could not be any more pleased.

I've used Terrascape twice, in 2011 initially and again for a refresh in 2019. If I needed a landscaper, they would be the one I would call first.

I had Terrascape in 2011 remove the pine straw front and back, install weed block matting, and 10 tons of copper, that was $2500 almost 10 years ago. Two guys working all day.

September 2019 I had them a refresh. They replaced about 15 shrubs in front, repaired the retaining wall, repaired the irrigation (I have separate sprayers on each shrub), topped off the rocks with about 2 tons of new river rock and copper rock, trimmed both palm trees and the taller shrubs in back, that was $1900. Four guys working about all day.

The major redo was in 2013 was by McGowin Landscaping. It included the install of 2 tall palms (Queen & Sylvester), the twin fan mill palm, the retaining wall installed, the irrigation system redo with separate sprayers, the French drain & down spout by garage diverted down to the French drain, the grass along the road removed and weed matt installed, the white river rock installed, additional copper rocks topped off and all the original shrubs removed and about two dozen shrubs installed, that was $4,800 in 2013.

I went back to Terrascape for the refresh and didn't use McGowin because I did call McGowin first and asked about the Sylvester Palm. I said it didn't look good and should I have it removed. She called me back and basically said, she wasn't interested in seeing my tree even though she had installed it. She could had the refresh job if she had stopped over.

I then emailed Jim Davis at the University of Florida Agricultural extension in Bushnell with a photo of the tree. He emailed back the next day, and said, the tree was fine, it was normal growth. It only needed trimming at the top, since I had told him I had never trimmed tree since it was installed, and the growth at the bottom was normal. I called Terracape and they no problem coming over, looking at my yard and trimming both palms and doing the refresh. https://directory.ifas.ufl.edu/searc...selectID=1&m=0

I didn't care for TerraScape. I had a patio villa and asked for some nice but simple landscaping. What I got as a quote was the Versailles gardens with a similar price.

I believe they are, not 100% sure, here's an azalea.
