Default Tree Removal

We're in search of a company that will remove a small(less than 4") tree that a previous landscaper put in our back yard. Need recommendations for a reputable company that shows up when they say and does the job with pride.
thanks for all suggestions

You must mean a tree that is about 4 feet tall, right?

FYI ya gotta get the Ok to remove a tree. We had to submit photographic proof that the trung (2 ft above the ground was less than 4" in diameter. It went all the way to an arborist who gave the OK.

I highly recommend Rupert Cross (sorry, I'd give you number but don't have it handy -- if you do a search for him, you'll find where he's been recommended a few times). The biggest problem with Rupert is not necessarily being on time -- he'll start a job and won't leave until it is done, even if the homeowner has added to the original contract. Other than that, he and his crew are conscientious and honest.
