This happens way too often. If people would just lace the cart strap through the carry handle of their bags it would solve lots of problems

Sorry someone lost their bag, but I cannot fathom how you don't notice it falling off your cart...

It kinda' makes a loud noise...

You could try looking on the shaft of the clubs---some people have their names/phone number on a label, as well as any other identifying info in the bag. I doubt the owner would consider that "snooping"

Losing a golf bag while driving is easier than one might think. Many people loosen their bag after a round to put stuff in harder to get pockets, etc and then don't quite get the strap tight. Timing is everything, when it does fall off, the driver could be distracted by any number of things and just didn't notice.
Kudos to the OP for trying to find the owner.

Well, now that you posted a picture, anyone can come by and claim it. Also, find it difficult to believe the owner didnt hear it fall or at least notice when they got home that a huge golf bag was missing. Makes you shudder to think that person is driving a golf cart in public

Maybe a scam to draw ladies to a house.

Please add name tag and phone number to your bag, clubs and range finders. Just in case.

Well, I guess anybody could now call you with a description of the bag and clubs they lost. I hope you find the REAL owner. Get their name and phone number in case someone else comes to claim them.

Can't believe how some golfers can be sooooooo detracted to not cinch up the strap around the bag as they leave the course (or the bar at the RecCtr), but the wife and I encountered the same situation as we were motoring home one evening from a round at Mangrove. Just as we were about to turn on to the MMP at the entrance to Hendry to head North along BV, we witnessed a bag full of clubs fall off the cart ahead of us.
We had to stop, as the bag actually blocking our path and we marveled as the clubs we very, very expensive (oh OK, more expensive than ours)!! As we were picking the bag up, the cart from which the bag had fallen, returned to the scene to retrieve it. The driver was somewhat inebriated, and as he mumbled some excuse as to how it must have happened, we noticed the strong smell of alcohol. No thank you at all, but we stayed long enough to help him strap the bag in before he took off. He then left as we just shook our heads hoping that he could drive home safely.
