I think Dr Ornish changed his position on that, check the date of your info.

I can tell you WITH AUTHORITY, that I gave up all animal products and oils for a month and gained weight.

I think that what a lot of people have said on here about corn, sugar and other carbohydrates is true. In order to lose weight you have to basically eat lettuce.

I offered to help you, I'll be there next week, we eat corn and plenty of carbs, no weight gain.

If you want to discuss this PM me and we can meet soon.

We believe there is something in your diet that you may be overlooking.

I'm working on a meeting for interested people sometime in January trying to block a 3 hour window at one of the rec centers.

Stay tuned

Vegan

Yes, I would agree. I went vegan due to health issues, it was the right thing for me to do. I feel 10 years younger, have lost 36 lbs since september. I never thought I could go w/o all the stuff, I actually enjoy it.

Fantastic,

there is going to a big meeting soon in January about the diet, trying to arrange a special guest speaker now.

let's see, are you a doctor or any kind of professional health provider?? if not I would take their advice way before yours, especially on a major diet change. Weight loss is will power, period. vegan, vegetarian and other diets that take extreme positions are just substitutes for true willpower because you are "following' someone else's 'will'. I recently found my weight had gotten out of hand so I went to a good breakfast, dried fruit and nuts during the day and a light dinner...I've lost 45 pounds in 3.5 months. I feel fine, for those 2 meals I eat WHATEVER I want.
So you wanna be vegan...good luck, you might not be heading down as healthy a diet trail as you believe, but that's an individual choice.

Just the fact of losing weight for 3.5 months is not the only test of a healthy diet.

Moreover, looneycat did not read any of Dr. Esseltyn, Dr. Campbell books or DVD.

Be ready for January 10th, I'm doing a seminar.
