Well let me help you get your story straight, you are left in a room alone unless you chose to have someone sit with you, and besides they check on you periodically. Second of all, it normally takes more than one visit to work. You must be the one out of thousands that acupuncture didn't help but I guess if you don't give it a chance you will never know, so please don't bash something that you never gave a chance. They have a very friendly office that is willing to do what it takes to help their patients that's something you don't find these days.

Well, had my first treatment on Tuesday and I am very impressed with Dr. Cheshire and his office staff. He is great to work with - actually listens - go figure. Next treatment tomorrow - too soon to say if anything is better. I'll keep you posted.

Is Acupuncture working for your problem? How many visits did it take? did it cure the problem? I have pain in my shoulder that goes up my neck

Just this morning I was telling my husband how wonderful it is that my back hasn't bothered me since treatment. I signed up for the 6 treatment program (I believe I went twice a week) and wouldn't hesitate to go back. I suffered with that back pain for
years - I had had a few flare ups, but if I immediately get on the floor and do my exercises, that takes care of that. Wasn't able to get that kind of relief before treatment.

Can someone please mention if this is covered by Medicare and how much 6 treatments cost?

gomoho 10-31-2013 04:00 PM

Wish I could answer your question, but don't know about Medicare and can't remember what I paid, but think it may have been $400+. Call the office and I'm sure they will answer you questions.

Acupuncture is not covered under Medicare and I believe the cost is $250.00 or something. When you buy a package the cost goes down. I bought a 10 pack for $365.00 so I don't think 6 could be that much.
