Thanks for that - most appreciated!

Well.....had my procedure today.

All you fine folks were spot on!!

The numbing was not a big deal. First cut bored a dime diameter. I was called back 30 minutes later for a second bore - that left me with a nickel diameter. 35 minutes later was called back and told - “that’s it we got it all.”

I had a 35 minute wait to get into the sewing department.

Two hours total time. They needle numb the area for every procedure. You will feel the first numb but not the subsequent numbs.

Like many of the above posters referenced - this is a competent team providing very good care. I will return to Alliant if future Mohs is needed.

Too early to address the scar but was told by Ahumada that it is a large area and will leave a scar that will minimize over time. It’s on my cheek and I doubt that it will be a distraction.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences!

I've had multiple MOHS procedures and there really has never been any pain. Some "prickles" when they deaden but I would not call it pain. Dr. Markus is outstanding. I highly recommend him. I can no longer see where he did my last surgery. Go for it.

Not surprised. I went to that practice for about eight years and had more surgeries than I can count. I was happy when Dr. Markus joined. IMO, he was very honest. Didn’t know Dr. Knapp but I always heard positive things about him and Dr. Bolton.
