Default Alliant Dermatology Dr Casper

Dr Casper enjoys an excellent reputation in The Villages but he has greatly expanded from a single doctor to 5-6 doctors with a nice new facility in LSL and plans for another Office in Colony Cottage. Office on 466 remains open for surgery.

Does anyone have any experience with any of his new doctors! Is this rapid expansion a little concerning or is it working out well?

I started 3 years ago with Jennifer, his PA. That's when you were told you can wait 3 months to see Dr. Casper or 1 month to see Jennifer. She was great but unfortunately moved to Arizona to be near family. I had been to the VA dermatology in Gainesville 2 times, they took a biopsy and never could figure out what was wrong. Jennifer walked into the room and within 30 seconds of just looking at me, told me exactly I had 2 things wrong and what they were. One was a thyroid rash, because I was taking too strong a dose of thyroid medication since I'm hypo-thyroid. The other was a reaction to a medication, it turned out I was allergic to statins.

My last two visits were just for my annual checkup or full body scan and it was by Dr. Heather Gates. The only thing I can say is, she looked me over from head to toe and found nothing wrong. She is at the LSL location.

I have been very thoroughly examined by Dr. Bolton in the LSL office. Because of an old history of melanoma, I am checked every six months.

I think David Casper is excellent and I like who he has hired and how he runs his business.

If you are living here in the direct ultra violet rays, you should be screened twice a year for skin cancer.

I am glad to see an ethical person expand his business.

Since his reputation is his most valuable asset I would assume that those he adds to the practice are vetted in depth. The additions also are in response to the growth of his practice and having the right people will insure that the growth continues. I think the growth is good, not only the people, but also the expansion of services. I'm also really happy he opened an office in Colony
