Alliant.....wonderful practice from Dr Casper to his staff. Can't say one negative thing about it.

Alliant Excellent Care

I’ve been seeing Dr. Casper four times a year since we moved here 11 years ago and I received nothing but outstanding care from him and several of the other providers in his practice. He is highly professional, courteous and caring and I recommended his practice to everyone I know that needs dermatology care.

We have been seeing Dr. Morris at Alliant Creekside for several years. Very happy with him and Alliant.

Same here, Dr. Morris is my go to for skin care.

I think Alliant Dermatology is the best. They have always given me an option of SET or cutting . With Set there is no cutting. I love them. I have seen several of the medical staff and I’m happy with all of them.

I have 2 friends who quit going to Dr Caspar. They both felt all he wanted to do was cut.

I respectfully disagree with those who think Dr. Casper and his team are overly aggressive. When it comes to skin cancer, being aggressive (also known as thorough) is not a bad thing. I have been going to Alliant since we moved to The Villages 4+ years ago, and I have had nothing but excellent care from them. Prior to moving here, I had two bouts of melanoma, and it was early detection and prompt action that prevented them from becoming metastatic. I certainly appreciate the thoughtfulness and professionalism the folks at Alliant deliver each and every visit.

On another note, I received an email from Alliant recently that included a letter to patients penned by Dr. Casper. In his letter, Dr. Casper explained that Alliant Dermatology has filed a lawsuit against The Villages Health for Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices, Defamation, and Tortious Interference. Sounds like he is not going to take it sitting down.

Alliant is suing them for defamation.

Plastic surgeon at Alliant

[Dr. Casper is a very wonderful doctor. However, the plastic surgeon there I would never recommend. My seamstress would’ve done a better job at sewing up the cancer removed from right under my nose. Every day I’m faced with seeing a lump right under my nose. He told me to go see another plastic surgeon. QUOTE=Moonrunner;2412158]Having lived in TV for 12 years and being patients of Dr. David Casper at Alliant all those years, we are happy to report that it is the best dermatology care we've had in our former 3 states and over 7 decades.
Recently there have been attempts by TVH to defame the Alliant practice and direct patients to their own dermatology offices. This action has no merit and is shameful for residents of TV to be given false information. TVH has even cancelled patient appointments at Alliant without patients' permission or knowledge. This is unconscionable and unacceptable.
Dr. Casper's office is staffed by doctors who are highly experienced in dermatology procedures resulting in positive outcomes.
Do not be swayed by false information. Alliant is second to none in providing high quality dermatology in TV and the surrounding areas.
Just ask patients who trust Alliant for their care. We do and we highly recommend them.

Having had cancer multiple times, I would never knock “over zealous!”

Breeze729 02-27-2025 03:10 PM

I've been with Alliant for three years now seeing Dr. Morris and I too am very happy with him and Alliant at Creekside. Shame on TVH and the underscored of who is ultimately the reason for this rumor they have started.

Carlsondm 02-27-2025 05:17 PM

Dr. Morris is very good also. He has caught several pre-cancers for us. Excellent office.

Nanettek3 02-28-2025 07:53 AM

Yes! Alliant is superior, honest, fair, professional and not a chop house, where they want to cut out everything even if you dont have something because it could become suspicious. I tried a few Derms here that were just that. Christy is wonderful, knowledgeable, patient, and professional.

I stopped going to him too. If they find signs of melanoma every time you visit, then there is something wrong in the practice. Get a second opinion before being cut up, which can be painful and disfiguring. See if the second doctor examines the same spot without mentioning it to him/her. I did and was saved a big bill.

Dermatology is the most profitable medical care business you can have. That's why there are tons of them in Florida's Old Home Town.

I have my family physician look at anything I notice on my skin, first. He agrees dermatologists here are "too aggressive" (aka crooked).

Different experiences lead to different opinions.

As someone who has had a friend die from melanoma and a relative treated for melanoma, I would be very hesitant to label a practice "too aggressive" or "crooked" simply because they found something that ought to be taken care of.
