It is at st. Paul's in wildwood. Went this morning at 9:15am, out by gone home by 10:15am. No problems, pain at site or side effects. They say it's the second shot that people get some side effects but all gone the next day. Let's just hope there aren't any long term five years from now. 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Do you mean St. Vincent de Paul in Wildwood?

Yes, that's where I meant.

Is it a drive thru or do you park, get out of vehicle?

They were at the new location today, the 8th. Steady stream of people headed in to the college as the appointment emails say to go there.

Pretty poor communication as the appointment was booked at 7:30 this morning!

I found this thread so called St.Vincent to confirm. When we arrived there was quite a line, but we were in and out in 1 hour.

I have two appointments scheduled for Saturdays at Sumter College.

No updated notification received yet.

I thought surely by the end of business today GMR would address the Saturday appointments as the new location operations in definitely only Monday through Friday (confirmed by the church staff).

I suppose a possibility exists that Saturday will be at the previous location....the community college.

They are able to relocate from site to site pretty quickly as proven in the past.

Setting that aside they do need to address the Saturday appointment holders concerns. I just cannot understand how they could announce a site relocation without addressing ALL future appointments affected.

Wouldn't somebody in the room say...hey what are we gonna do about the people who have appointments on Saturday?????

:grumpy:

Is the St. Timothy location a drive thru?

I finally got an appointment for my 82 year old sister and would like to know how this new location is set up. I received my vaccination at the Sumter State College location and am not familiar with this one.

The vaccination site is ST. VINCENT DE PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH in Wildwood.

GMR has been at ST. VINCENT for only 1 day which means most people on this site do not know if it is a drive through facility. You can contact GMR or (better yet) call ST. VINCENT and ask them if it is a drive through or if it is a church walk-in.

I went to the St. Vincent church site today. It is 100% drive-thru. From the time I got in one of the 2 lines of cars until I got the the front was just under an hour 11:43 till 12:35 (they merge to one lane way up at the front so it doesn't matter which line you choose). Have your drivers license, insurance card and the e-mail with your bar-code out and ready when you get to the front of the line. They have signs along the side of the parking lot where the line of cars snakes through reminding you and there is a person standing just prior to the head of the line asking to see these to ensure you're ready to go when you get to the front. Went fairly smoothly. Unfortunately for me after waiting in line and getting to the front and having all my documentation ready I was told "there was a glitch this weekend in the database and many more people than planned received a code, you'll have to leave and wait to be notified again", I wasn't too happy!

Thank you for the information on it being a drive thru.
I realized I had the name of location wrong.
Sorry you had a "glitch."
Don't blame you for being unhappy.

Anyone have contact for GMR?
When I received my vaccination on 2/27 at Sumter State College, they did not give me a date for 2nd vaccination.
Is that what others have experienced?
GMR seems to be full of "glitches!"

Both appointments are made at the same time. Look at the bottom of the paper with the barcode on it, there should be both appointments there. They do not make the appointment at the vaccine site.

I wonder if it is the server you use that this problem arises. I use Firefox on a Dell laptop and I did not have this problem at all. All boxes and fields for entering information and to continue to the next page were all easily visible without having to scroll to find them.

Morning paper says Saturday appointments would be contacted for rescheduling.

Thank you, very much.
I realized that when I printed my sister's appointment email with barcode this morning.
Luckily, mine was still in my glove box.

Another GMR Communication problem.

I had first shot at Sumterville 2/18 and am scheduled for second on the 3/18. My issue is that today's paper states appointments from 9 to 5. My appointment is for 5:30. I was never informed by GMR that first appointment was changed to Sumterville from Buffalo Ridge so I'm not holding my breath waiting to be advised what time I should go for second.

I appreciate that we do have a vaccination site nearby and understand issues with scheduling and location but the communication from GMR to those who have appointments that have been affected is severely lacking. I'll just show up early on the 18th and hope I can get my second shot.
