The "rMRA" and "mDNA" mention in the same post reeks of the same conspiracy that created the fallacious trend of dairy labeling and scaremongering when rBGH/rBST was a thing. Yes, Monstanto is a big powerful scary company that produces dangerous things.

But no, bovine somatotropin is not the big hairy monster people think it is. There are no elevated amounts of it in the milk you drink, and there is no way of telling whether the milk you're drinking has ONLY the natural BST that the cow manufactures all by herself, or the rBST which is injected into her to make her produce more milk. The two are molecularly identical. The labeling is merely marketing jargon, it has no significance of any kind, whatsoever.

This is the same kind of strategy used by the anti-vax movement which wants you to be afraid of "big Pharma."

btw, there's plenty of hydroxychloroquine to be had.....Florida bought almost a million doses, OK is trying to return about 2 million dollars worth to name just two

HCQ with Zinc does help as an anti-viral if taken very early in the disease course. Once the viral replication phase is over, and the other dysregulation starts happening, HCQ+Zinc has essentially no effect. Lots of the trials, specially the abominable Recovery trial point out that in the later phases, HCQ trends to harm, specially at the toxic doses as were given in the recovery trial.

Quercetin is an over the counter supplement that is also a zinc Ionophore and does essentially the same function as HCQ as it relates to zinc. It can be taken as prophylaxes without any of the side-effects.

We know that zinc does inhibit Sars-cov2 replication in vivo. Just taking a zinc supplement without an ionophore though will result in a low concentration in the cells, probably too low to do much good. The ionophore will raise the cellular concentrations dramatically, enough to start having an effect. It could be the difference between the sniffles and a bad go of it.

Hmm, maybe I'll wait 10 years for my booster.....:)

I bet if fauci tells them that they can avoid Covid by crawling on their bellies, we would see a lot of them crawling through Publix and Walmart.

1) The article that you reference says nothing about zinc.

2) The paper is a comparison of hydroxychloroquine vs chloroquine in an experiment done in vitro using cells from African green monkey kidney VeroE6 cells (ATCC-1586). While in vitro studies are useful in designing future studies on animals/humans, they do not replace in vivo studies.

3) They appear to compare results done at much higher drug concentrations (1.85 to 16.67 umolar) with the blood serum levels of 1.5 umolar. It isn't clear to me that their conclusions are valid.

It's the abbreviation of one of the United States. To be specific, Oklahoma. Reading each word, in order, helps understand the poorly-written post.

Translated to "reasonably understandable English":

Quote:

By the way, there is plenty of hydroxychloroquine available. Florida bought nearly one million doses, and Oklahoma is trying to return two million's worth, to name just two states among the fifty.

For crying out loud, run and get your booster shot. Fight to be first in line, because surely your two shots have expired and becoming infected is imminent. Now everyone knows that you are going to get the booster and some right along with their yearly flu shot. Fantastic!
My opinion, which is about as relevant as anyone else's is: I have no intention of spending hours on the computer every morning, fighting for a position/appointment in some far location for this booster shot. I did it for my spouse and was glad to do it for her. The bonus was that I was able to get mine at the same time. Would I have secured a spot for my own shot if not for her? Probably not. All my children but one and all my grandchildren except the very youngest have had Covid and the worst case was equal to a mild cold. Two of my family have had Covid twice, and the only hindrance was having to quarantine, not being able to go to work until they received a negative test result.
I have never had the flu and do not get the flu shot. From what I understand (and I may be wrong) is that the flu shot you get this year is NOT for the current version of the FLU but based upon the previous years of FLU. I'm in pretty good shape and take NO prescription medications.
Will I get the booster? I don't know. If they offer it to me when/IF my spouse gets a booster, then maybe. Am I concerned about the chance of infection? I went over a year without becoming infected so far. I haven't been infected by the FLU either so I must be doing something right or one of the luckiest 70's yo in the country.
Do I believe in vaccinations? Sure, I think everyone else should get them. Do I believe that folks should be bullied into getting them? NO, I do not. Do I think that those that decline are stupid? No, it is their right and it is their personal choice. Do I care whether or not folks believe their health insurance goes up due to someone else's personal choices? No, I do not care. Do I worry about what an infection might do to me? No, because I have the greatest confidence that IF/IF I ever get infected, it will not kill me. Everyone will die eventually and I believe that whether or not I get the vaccination, I will likely live into my 90's.
My spouse beat death out several times. If she wants the booster, I will gladly assist her. If she declines, I will respect her choice and will not think less of her. Just like I will not think less of anyone on here or my neighbors that decline vaccination.
Some of you are really-really terrible at convincing those that are undecided to get vaccinated. If you want to convince, it is my opinion that proving or providing proof that the vaccine is safe would be the best way to influence folks. I believe the vaccines are safe and think that folks that have medical issues SHOULD be vaccinated. But, I do not know you so IF you die I won't miss you. I am sure there are some that will, though.

What does "vaccine is (or is not safe) mean?

Does the fact that half the population of the USA has been vaccinated with significant positive end result account for anything?

How about the current Delta wave new cases and hospitalizations are predominantly non vaccinated?

The ongoing drum beat about whether the vaccine is safe is a special interest group smoke job.

We choose to be vaccinated to be in a group that is now no longer vulnerable to serious illness and or death.

And if others have chosen to not be vaccinated they know they have chosen to be a part of the most vulnerable group.

The outlook on almost anything these days seems to be .....if you do not agree with someone then they are wrong......
That is wrong!!!

The media and special interest groups nurture the disrespecting the other person's right to choose?

On the other hand, there's your opinion

Gee, tough call:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

Those organizations don't exactly have stellar reputations as far as being straight shooters is concerned. I don't follow any advice from any of them until I've done further research.

And, speaking of further research, I've been reading about spike proteins. These are the little critters the vaccines make that trick your cells into making antibodies. There is considerable literature out there making me very leery about getting the booster. Apparently these proteins have the ability to cross the blood/brain barrier. They also can effect your DNA, immune system and the genetic material that slows the aging process. All of this has potential for adverse effects.

I really want the vaccine to be safe but I'm beginning to wonder. Almost wish I would come down with COVID so my body would create natural antibodies. Far out there, I know but I'm healthy and really not afraid of this disease.
