Default Chiropractors - any recommendations?

Does anyone know a good - soft touch - Chiropractor? I threw my back out a couple of days ago and not getting better on my own. I have ostiopenia (borderline ostioporosis), so I don't want further damage.

twinkle...I go to Dr. T Stephen Hines of Chiropractic Center in Baylee Plaza...north of the Villages on 441 (after Stonecrest and Spruce Creek). # is 352-347-4422

I just go for monthly tune ups. But, he is hands on, gentle, very knowledgeable, very thorough, and genuinely wants to take the time to help his patients. He doesn't just crack you and send you out the door. He and his staff also do physical therapy.

I would highly recommend him. He was recommended to me by a neighbor who was a chiro in a prior life.

Good luck.

Both my wife and I use Michael J. Paulk D.C. in the Ethridge Chiropractic, 910 Old Camp Rd., Suite 110, TV. 352-750-1200. Fine, caring, young man. We would recommend him to anyone. (Located right next to the new Sweetbay) :#1:

Default chiropractors

Before you make any decisions about who to go to...Read who to stay away from first. I think you will save yourself a lot of money and headaches.

I go to Bob Marinier who is located in the off 466 where the Publix store is. He is next to the New York Deli in a tiny office. He is there from 8:30 to 12:30 every day and you do not need an appointment. He charges $20 and does not take insurance. He is very good - just list everything that you want adjusted on the envelope that you put your money and name on.

AJ .... that's not as easy a question as it might seem. Best bet is to call his office and find out.

I have some coverage via my insurance .... he bills $120 for my visit, insurance allows 47 which he accepts; So, would he charge someone, cash off the street, more or less than 47.... I don't know.

Total treatment time is about 45 mins.... massage/heat, stretch, and crack.

RE: Davis...have heard he's expensive AND expects payment up front as he "prescribes" a "plan" for you! You should go into the archives re: chiropractors here and there are 'some' who will tell you this guy isn't the one to check out!!! I'm just saying......

The Villages FL Chiropractor, The Villages Florida | Dr. Jason E. Davis
I have heard a lot of bad things about Dr. Davis. First of all he charges too much, I guess that is why he can afford a big new building now. My husband went to him and he did not do anything for his back and when he wanted to stop going the doctor got upset with him. I know from other people that had to pay upfront for weeks ahead and no getting better after thousands of $.
