So if I get tested today I am worry free? If you do not have symptoms why test? How many times do you test? Do you test multiple times? Testing does not seem to be the answer that will cure the outbreak, if you do not get tested daily and go out anywhere, touch anything contaminated or interact with anyone that is a carrier or infected what good does it do? Not pooh poohing the seriousness to elder citizens but testing will not be the save all. Time and diligence with a huge dose of logical practical thinking and actions will work us through this. Helping your fellow citizens and businesses will help along with a little humor and a lot of patience. For anyone not believing that work is not being done as hard and fast as it can to resolve this issue you need to go to any hospital or research lab and make you negative, condescending comments.

I don’t think that Stan the man is joking. I think he is absolutely right. There will be people wanting tests who are not in a high risk group.

There were 5 or 6 questions to answer IF you didn’t qualify for the test you were offered a chance to go in the study which UCF is doing. That simple!

" Please note that you are being tested in the RESEARCH arm of the testing program. That means that you will be tested with supplies and test kits provided by The University of Florida Infectious Disease Lab. These kits have not yet received FDA or CDC approval, but have been demonstrated to be robust. Results of your testing will be provided to you via email or phone within 24 to 48 hours. Since this is a research test, you may want to confirm your test results via standard CDC testing as more of these tests become available. "

The easiest way for us to get tested is to sneeze on a rich, politically connected person, and wait for their results.

Drive through test is at POLO FIELDS. Not golf cart accessible from Southern part of Villages. Guess anyone living here less than 3 years not considered a true resident

I must say this was the most organized setup I have seen in TV since moving here in 2009. Everything was setup nicely and well separated. The study area was totally separated from the regular separated area. Line we’re moving very smoothly and there were plenty of people there to answer your questions and give you directions. Hope people take advantage of this testing IF they are concerned!

We have been following the social-distance stuff, feel fine and have no reason to believe we have CV-19. WHY TEST us??? I am in the "risk group" - age & conditions. What would a test show if I don't exhibit symptoms? Why clog the system and take the materials required for testing from those who may need it?
If there is a shortage of test kits I believe the first priority of testing would be for those with actual active symptoms.

That’s why you answer the questions and IF you don’t qualify you can opt to join the study group. Of course people could always lie when answering the questions. Then you could be taking a test away from someone who really needed it.

So, you have symptoms right? Or they are wasting test?
