Default COVID 19 number of cases

It has been reported that there are 640 cases of Covid 19 in the tri conunty areas with 240 cases in Sumter county, However, are these numbers correct? How many are old cases which have been cured, how many of these numbers have died, and how many are still active within the last 14 days. We have seen a decline in numbers with only 2 in Fruitland park and also Bushnell (correctional instit), Are these the totals for each county(since the onset) or are the current active numbers infected. Just asking

It is people who tested positive. Once you test positve you are in the count. The number does not change when you recover.

My understanding is these numbers are total since testing has started. As for the death numbers, I would hope they are accurate.

We will never have accurate numbers of cases because of asymptomatic carriers of the virus who are not tested, therefore are not counted in the numbers.
