What do you mean "protected"? The vaccinated are getting infected and sick all the time ... yourself included. You call that protected?

Would you be equally sanguine in the face of contracting polio after a polio vaccine or shingles, smallpox, tetanus, measles, mumps, hepatitis or meningitis after getting their corresponding vaccine? Hell, no! You also don't have a test kit for any of these diseases in your medicine cabinet.

If you get bitten by a dog, proof of the dog having had a timely rabies vaccine is sufficient to quell any fears of getting rabies from that bite. That's because the rabies vaccine works. The various covid-19 shots have no such track record.

One gets the shot and then the booster and then the second booster and you STILL have to worry about getting covid. That's not a vaccine. That's what I call a scam. And it needs to end.

To that point, my wife and I (both unvaccinated with these COVID shots) are taking a cruise in late September. I remember talk of only elite vaccinated persons being able to sail. I remember talk of this being a "pandemic of the unvaccinated". Now, neither are true. The vaccinated can and do acquire the virus, become infected (even without symptoms) and spread the virus to others.

It's finally understood that the unvaccinated are no threat to any other person as the vaccinated can, and do, spread the virus just as easily. The choice to remain unvaccinated is therefore a personal choice. And those that choose to become vaccinated do so to protect themselves against serious disease ... not their neighbors, friends, family. They can each make their own decisions on the safety and efficacy of the supposed vaccine. From where I sit, those that chose to take the shot don't look very "protected" as compared to historical vaccine efficacy.

Yeah, well , let's take about Polio, and Smallpox.

I will continue to believe in science instead of talking heads on media.

So, you don't wear seat belts. You are opposed to stop signs. You don't like air bags, None of those prevent dying in an accident.

This BS has been agued for years now. The vaccinations protect, mean ing reduce damage. Sort of like football helmets help, but they still get concussions. I guess we should make football helmets optional - I mean footballl players have rights damn it.

Yeah, lets do nothing Because we can't provide a 100% guaranteed solution with no side effects.

Please, let us know when you test positive, admitted to hospital and put on a ventilator.😟

People build straw men saying "it doesn't stop COVID" and then look for ways to prove their straw man.

And the reason more people that are vaccinated are getting COVID is pretty hard to understand, maybe it has to do with 80% of the population being vaccinated? (depending on who you believe that number varies from 65% to 90%. It also varies if you mean fully 4 shots or at least 1 shot). In any case, most (more than half) of people have been vaccinated.

Two years, and we still have all this nonsense. Now measles, polio and others are making a comeback because of anti-vaxers.

Funny, when I make a political post, I get put in the corner.

Obviously, when I said other than one mis spoken quote. You on the other hand believe all the bs spewed instead over and over again. And when they spew it people die.

The CDC claimed the vaccines prevented 90% of infections. There is a direct quote in this article from the CDC claiming the vaccines will end the pandemic. Not a word about preventing hospitalizations/dying.

Thank you. I'm actually feeling perfectly fine at this point. I'm still in my five day quarantine period so I'm staying inside. I'm not isolating from hubby while in our home and so far, he is fine.

Thank you for your thoughtful wishes. I'm sure it was those crowded elevators! The crew still wear masks but the passengers don't.

Then they had lingering symptoms such as hoarseness, tiredness that lasted a couple of weeks. Apparently it affects everyone differently. You're one of the lucky ones!

I do feel very lucky to have an illness that is less than a mild cold. I still have taste and smell so I'm happy.
