Stay away from Wildwood Dentists on SR44. They will invent things to charge you for. They are extremely unorganized and unethical. Sadly they are on the Medicare 'go to' list. Avoid them unless you like to burn your money and time.

I would try Dentistry on the Square in Sumter Landing. I would not recommend Wildwood Dentists . They would not give me my free cleanings that my insurance would cover, they would only do a perio-maintainence cleaning that was not covered by insurance.

Friend went to Mexico, paid $2800 for $13,500 they wanted local.

Said everything went great, just walked over bridge did all the work over 3 days.
Waiting room had people from states & Canada

Student Clinic, College of Dentistry, University of Florida in Gainseville..Best dental care I have ever received. Cost is 40-60% less than private practice. All work is supervised by 2/3 faculty.

Stay away from Aspen Dental!!

Another recommendation for Kathleen Williams at Palm Ridge Dental. When I first moved here a retired dentist told me she is his dentist. I like her and the staff that works there.

Is there a Dental School in the area? They are half what a dentist charges & the 3rd year+ students work is discussed/checked & rechecked by Licensed Dentists that work at the school. A replacement crown cost me $500 at University of Louisville Dental School 2020. Must be something within an hour of TV. Make a day of it & go to lunch.

I went to Managua Nicaragua. Found oral surgeon who did eight implants on the uppers. Full implants not minis. The abutments, and the full crown 14 teeth. 2 bone graft sinus lift. The implants all eight were titanium. The crowns were ceramic porcelain. Stronger than your own teeth. The oral surgical suite was the cleanest newest and most well-equipped technology that I've seen. Very sterile and treated like oral surgery. Staff is highly trained Spain Germany and Southern California. I priced just the upper implants and crowns in The Villages and Ocala. Prices range from 21000 to 23500. That's nearly $50,000 for upper and lowers. That's when I started looking around for a better option. Airfare to Managua round trip approximately$200. Made two trips. All ground transportation provided free. Hotel was very nice, guarded security, pool, courtyard , restaurant on site.

Dr. Heydari of Aesthetic Dentures at Colony is an excellent dentist. Received various awards from NY dental school. Great for implants. He has a 3D X-Ray machine. Will not try to do unnecessary procedures.Dentist and stall are very professional and friendly.
