It is a PDF brochure and the AED program is towards the end. It is unfortunate that any village would opt out of having this life saving program in place. In our village not everyone joined into the fund raising, however, all in our village will get the emergency care if needed.

Let me ask again. Are there any success stories?

Yes, have personally used AED more times than I can count the success rate depends on if the person was viable to begin with. You do realize that when responders arrive at the house they have an AED with them.

I am not questioning the effectiveness of AED's. I am looking for successful resuscitations with the neighborhood programs.

What is the number of lives saved that makes it a good deal at $85 every five years? Just the mere chance of a saved life is good enough for me.

It only takes one for success. And it may be the next one.
And just on the chance you haven't read all the posts...........call the fire department to get the full answer.
