A single implant without bone grafting can take a few months total as long as there aren't any complications. Everything heals up within the first couple of months, you get the impression, and the crown is fitted over the abutment within a month after that.
A single implant with bone grafting can take around six months, because the graft has to successfully absorb into the natural bone before they can drill for the implant and abutment.
With multiple implants it can take longer, because there's more to restore, and the entire jawline can change before all is said and done.
With full-mouth extraction, all-on-4 implant dentures upper and lower, it can take over a year from the time the first tooth is pulled til the time the final denture is correctly fitted. That also requires a full set of temporary dentures, which can be fitted the same day of extraction and adjusted as the healing progresses.
