This certainly isn't for everyone but I'll tell you the work was great and affordable.
They have awful dentists here that’s a fact ! They are not specialists just work for franchises. You need a prosthodontist! I’m going back up north to a REAL qualified specialist and it’s 20-25% less who guarantees their work and has the latest technology. They also use nitrous for the pain which these cheap people here won’t give their patients

My husband went to Dr. Jaffal who is wonderful! He cares & does an excellent job on implants. He is located in the Laurel Manor area. Good luck! Tell him that Rodney & Doreen Hampton referred you if you go to him...

Dr. Caylor and Dr. Kathleen Williams are both excellent.

Do not understand how a procedure with implants and full arch can be done in one, two or three visits. There is healing time, bone graphing if needed takes time to set before attaching the implant. Multiple impressions , etc. Could take two years!

A single implant without bone grafting can take a few months total as long as there aren't any complications. Everything heals up within the first couple of months, you get the impression, and the crown is fitted over the abutment within a month after that.

A single implant with bone grafting can take around six months, because the graft has to successfully absorb into the natural bone before they can drill for the implant and abutment.

With multiple implants it can take longer, because there's more to restore, and the entire jawline can change before all is said and done.

With full-mouth extraction, all-on-4 implant dentures upper and lower, it can take over a year from the time the first tooth is pulled til the time the final denture is correctly fitted. That also requires a full set of temporary dentures, which can be fitted the same day of extraction and adjusted as the healing progresses.

It has taken about 1 1/2 years for mine so far, I am supposed to go back to Ecuador for the final time (barring complications) in September. However, that depends on travel recommendations and restrictions on the current surge. It won't hurt to wait longer for the surge to decline if I need to.
