I have been going to Jennifer Larson in Ocala for the past year. She is pretty good and I liked the hygienists, but they are gone and I am seeing someone new next week. I have a dental plan, but there are so many hidden costs that you end up spending probably the same as if there was no plan. The only thing I do not like is that she does not have any gas for sedative. I need to find someone who uses laughing gas as I have a problem with local anesthesia. Good luck...

We go to Dr. Franz Brignold. He is excellent!! Large practice and staff. His office is just off 441-27. Turn left at traffic light and proceed a few hundred yards down a county road. Turn right at a sign listing some of the businesses etc. Follow the signs. It's easy to find but is south of Leesburg, just north of Babbetts Furniture.

Default Dentists in the villages....recommendations?

Hi again folks
How about any recommendations for dentists within the Villages. Coming from the east of Florida our experience has been they want to push everything. eg. implants crowns, root canals etc. We want to have regular cleanings pull as needed and eventually get flexible dentures.

Dr. Adam Still in Laural Manor is good. Dr. Fisher on Old Camp Rd. as well I would recommend either one!! These guys won't "push"!!

Default Dr. Brignol

Went to Dr. Brignol last summer for a new patient exam. I was given a treatment plan of over $4,000 that just didn't seem right as everything was OK 6 months before.

Followed up with a highly recommend 'Villages' dentist (from TOTV).

Nothing needed to be done - just had a cleaning and everyone was really nice and professional.

I wrote to Dr. Brignol and he followed up via the phone but I wasn't convinced by his explanation.

My wife went to a dentist and they charged her $125 for a cleaning. (no x-rays) That's more than we payed up north. What are others charging?

Currently in Palm Beach Gardens and we pay for cleaning $89.00 (no xrays). Wow, $125?? seems excessive. Are we moving to an area where seniors are taken advantage of? Palm Beach Gardens is considered upper middle income. We thought $89.00 was on the high end.

Has anyone had any experience with Dr. David Barnett at Buena Vista Dental in Laurel Manor complex?
