Look in today's issue of The Villages Daily Sun (Thur, 3-7-13) in the Rec Center News on Page 62. Two Parkinson's Groups are listed.

Hi Kathy,
Are you currently in The Villages or researching for a future move? If you are here, you are welcome to go to any of the group meetings. The Parkinson Fight Club meets 3 times per week, Monday morning, Wednesday mid-day and Sunday mid-day. There are no dues, membership requirements, etc., just show up and be welcomed. The group exercises, then has an hour of motivational and educational conversation, as well as group participation and sharing. At least one neurologist here recommends this group to his PD patients. Spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend. First Monday of each month, it's guys only, but the ladies get together, at the same time, in another area. First Wed. of the month, there is no group, but they will add on extra social activities to make up for that. Lots of social activities.....as a matter of fact, the ladies are off shopping together right now!

If you are here, you will find times/dates, etc., in the Rec. News. If you are not here yet and want to ask some questions, please PM me. I'll be glad to offer any info I can.

Just wondering...

My brother has PD. He and his wife have considered moving to TV. Is this group still together?
