Is anyone familiar with Dr Mabry-Height or Dr James Miller? Would appreciate any recommendations for a Village GP or Int. Medicine. Thanks.

I came to TOTV three weeks ago asking about a good INT or GP. Someone has posted about Dr. Agbo and I am glad they did. My first visit was yesterday and I have to say that the quality of care is only matched by WA state and my physician many years ago. He is the only doc in the office, his staff were top notch and very friendly. My visit lasted 40 min- he asked questions, did not rush my exam, is extremely cordial and does not make one feel like a number or a code. He did not try to order a bajillion tests that cost a fortune, listened to me about the meds I did not want to take and the reasons why, he actually talked to me and not the pc or chart. And, asked me if I could come back in 2-3 weeks to review my labs that I did need. When I asked about a recommendation for a specialist, he did not go to a list or tell me to see the RN, he told me that he would look into who specializes in my area of need and have that for me next visit. I actually left the office yesterday in a wonderful mood ( and I was dreading going) and feeling very confident about my new doctor. I believe I am now his #1 fan :-).

I have been going to Dr Agbo but hate the one hour wait to see him. Have had three visits and each time, I waited one full hour before he walked into the exam room. That's not acceptable to me.
