Default Dr Michael Glick or Dr Angel Tafur

New in TV as of August. Currently have shoulder pain that...after a week...I think it’s time to seek medical attention.

I haven’t chosen a primary care doc yet and am thinking that should be my starting point for the shoulder issue.

My wife’s doctor - Bundz - recommended the above 2 docs as good choices.

Looking for any comments - plus or minus - before making a choice.

Thanks in advance neighbors!

All three of us are crazy about Dr. Rizzi.

We also love Dr. Gulati.

If you can use The Villages Health Care...

I've been seeing Dr. Tafur for nine years, and my wife sees his wife Lauren Tafur (pa or np, not sure). They are attentive and easy to talk to. From experience I recommend them. As for the shoulder, Dr. Alfred Cook is very good. If someone needs ortho treatment quickly, I recommend UNOVA urgent care on Rolling Acres, or Dr. Wilt at their clinic.

If you have regular medicare you do not have to have a primary care referral. Eliminates one step in the process of getting a final solution.....which the primary would not be doing anyway.

We had Dr. Glick for several years until more options became available South of 466 (not 466A)...always "treated" us right.

Thanks for that! Been reading TOTV for 2 years and have always felt you have a balanced finger on the pulse of everything Villiages!

I can access that network but turns out his first appointment opportunity is end of month.

Thanks GG

That’s a positive vote and great suggestion - thanks!
