Default Eye Doctor

I need the name of a good eye doctor in The Villages. Preferably one who has extensive experience dealing with diabetic retinopathy.

I would appreciate any recommendations.

I too am a diabetic retinopathy patient and when I moved to TV I located and have been seeing Dr Scot Holman at Lake Eye Assoc (352) 750-2020 and am very satisfied. Besides knowing his business he is a great guy - very friendly.

I use Ocala Eye. Each of their docs specializes in different eye diseases. In fact just had surgery yesterday for Ptosis repair and Blephoplasty. Saw their eyelid surgeon for that. I see another doc for my glaucoma. http://www.ocalaeye.com/

I use and recommend Lake Eye Care in the Sharon Morse Building also. I use Dr. Vocci but they have three or four on staff there.

Ocala Eye....I see Dr. Elmallah (might not be right spelling). He's Harvard educated and more. I asked my family provider where she'd go and she said more than likely Ocala Eye. This was after I already had had care there.
