Default FAST TRACK to HIP REPLACEMENT - Seeking Recommendations & Advice

Any recommendations for an orthopedic surgeon who performs hip replacements, accepts original Medicare (plus Medigap) and who would be open to the idea of fast tracking hip replacement surgery?

My sister-in-law moved to The Villages less than a year ago.

Eight years ago, Sis, a former athlete, had a successful hip replacement in a far away state.

Recently, disabling pain quickly developed in the other hip. Moderate arthritis is the diagnosis. As the arthritis is considered to be only moderate, Sis' current orthopedic surgeon is saying it's too early for a hip replacement.

Sis is being treated with cortisone shots which relieve much of the pain, but do not help with the disability. Sis loves an active lifestyle, and Sis has had to curtail many of her usual activities.

Sis has had to cancel two trips and hire a dog walker.

Sis is planning to be more assertive in pushing her current internist and orthopedic surgeon to fast track the hip replacement.

Any suggestions on how to influence the medical professionals to put Sis on the fast track to hip replacement along with recommendations of orthopedic surgeons who would be good candidates to fast track the hip replacement surgery would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance to everyone with advice and recommendations! : )
