Smile Florida Blue Medicare HMO

Just got 2015 books in mail. No change in monthly premium, just pay normal Part B monthly of $104.90 or whatever. No monthly increase as someone had posted.
Max out of pocket went down - most co-pays up slightly. Both of my doctors still on their list.
Will probably stay with them, but will check the Medicare website next month to be confident I am not over-paying for similar coverage.

Specialist fee went form $30 to $35 per visit. A bump in prices for others services, but not drastic. Prescription costs have changed.

I use to get my two/three medications for nothing. Now there is a co-pay and a fairly big charge for brand name drugs. It's not a biggie, but still money out of one's pocket.

I worked too hard last year to find the doctors I needed to visit, so I will probably stay with them. Their rep's are still a storehouse of misinformation.

I got my Florida Blue package today and noticed alot of doctors that were on this year are not on next year. The size of the book is very thin compared to last year. I am thinking of changing as I do not want an HMO again.

the booklet that you got is just a partial list. I would suggest to check the network directory online as it is much moved up to date. If you have concerns or questions I would suggest to call your agent.

I know the info online SHOULD be up to date. Humana PPO has quite a few Dr's on their online onto that have left the state over 2 years ago.
I spoke with a humana rep yesterday on the phone. She never heard of Mayo Clinic.......really?? I was shocked at her ignorance in regards to EVERYTHING insurance related. Where do they get these people?

I have been a long time member of the Florida Blue advantage plans. Never had a problem finding doctors in the network. I have found the local offices here to be very helpful. I have never had any problems dealing with the local agency in The Villages and have found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful.
