Good luck with that. 14,000 people just got booted out of villages health.

There is no such thing as a general practitioner anymore. They are primary care physicians (PCPs) now, specialists in internal medicine or family medicine. Geriatric medicine is a subspecialty. We just left The Villages because we had too many PCPs in a short period of time. Could not get continuity of care. Doctors and nurse practitioners left their practices frequently without replacements available. I too got kicked out of the PCP practices owned by The Villages.

I just switched my primary to Dr. Vivian Woodard on Rolling Acres Road and 441 due to being outsted by The Villages Health. Dr. Woodard is knowledgeable, kind and caring. She was educated at Harvard.
