In any case, most of the drugs that are not approved for use on Covid, your doctor is risking his/her license if they write a prescription.

Start using? Not direct cause and effect but, a former friend used to take tetracycline a common antibiotic that he bought from a tropical fish place.

I take HA Joint, It was originally used on horses. He suggested it is far cheaper to buy the stuff for horses.

As to pharmacist, I am amazed at how much you need to know and the fact that today we are forced to go to places like Windixie, Publix and Walmart for prescriptions.
Not in Florida and many years ago, I had a shopping mall pharmacist fill my prescription with the proper drug but 100x as strong. I compared it to what I had and never took it.
When, I took it back he told me he was not aware that it was made that strong.
My doctor told me it may have killed me if I took it..

I regularly, realize, on my job at worst a mistake cost someone a few bucks. I was not making decisions everyday that could cost anyone their health or their life.

The original question simply asked if anyone knew of any doctors willing to prescribe Ivermectin for COVID. Instead the focus of the comments has been about the effectiveness of the medication. Can we instead refocus on the original request?

If you personally do not believe in the drug, that's fine, but for those interested it would be nice if we could find a local doctor.

Nobody has mentioned a local doctor that will prescribe Ivermectin for COVID-19. Does that tell us anything? The State of Oklahoma wants the federal government to buy back $2 million worth of hydroxychoroquine. Does that tell us anything? But by all means, I am interested in any physician that will prescribe Ivermectin for COVID-19 -- so I can stay far far away.

The difference between HCQ and Ivermectin couldn't be more stark. One had a small trial and was added to standard of care. The other has had over 40 controlled trials to date. Of the randomized controlled trials more than half of those have been peer reviewed. In _EVERY_ trial Ivermectin has shown efficacy. The NIH updated its recommendation on Ivermectin to the same level as monoclonal antibodies and convalescent plasma. Both of which are in common use.

Have you seen the miracle story of how India seems to have gotten a handle on the pandemic? Deaths and infections starting to bounce along the baseline. The story was making the rounds a few days ago.

Did you also see the blister pack they are handing out to everyone in the country? It includes a course of Ivermectin, vitamins and an antibiotic. Of the three, which one do you think is making the difference and crushing SARS-COV-2?
