I get an email from The NY Times every day with the COVID ratings for Sumter, Marion and Lake counties. Sumter County has moved from risk level of VERY HIGH to a risk level of HIGH.
5% of the tests in Sumter County still come back positive which the Times lists as a warning that cases may be undercounted.

I will find the map from the New York Times that show vaccination levels by county and it shows that Sumter county is the highest level of vaccination in the whole state of Florida at greater than 70% I have posted this map from the New York Times many times recently on this forum.

I found this one which is not the one I was looking for so I will keep looking. This one shows the level of new cases and it shows the color being the lightest on the map which is the best color to be. Look at this. I will find the map with level of vaccinations and post it soon,

Here look at good ole Sumter County with the darkest color on the map of Florida. It is the dark skinny county right there in the middle. Check it out.
