Some doctors are really great at breathing through their noses when they have a mask on. Some are not. The ones that are not, have a higher risk of dry socket, bad breath, and tooth decay.

You can look it up, you'll find plenty of documentation about the phenomenon on pubmed, medline, the CDC, the ADA, etc. etc. etc.

It's not about the masks. It's about the mouth breathing. Which happens more often when people wear masks.

Thanks for passing on such good information, very helpful.

Do you need a study to tell you that randomly firing guns in public will result in someone being injured or killed? Common sense should tell you that wearing a mask is going to limit who you expose to the stuff coming out of your mouth and nose. It is not rocket science. I for one do not want any issue at the pearly gates from anyone I indirectly kill by being stubborn and selfish.:icon_wink:

The pearly gates visual was an excellent way to call out the behavior of the mask-less marvels.

That’s silly unless you are wearing them at home and in your sleep.

Masking is needed to slow the spread of the virus. Have you seen videos demonstrating how effective masks can be to contain the virus laden aerosols and droplets of a presymptomatic or asymptomatic carrier? If you watch and read about the science behind wearing a mask, you will no longer give incorrect advice.
