Default Medical Cannabis

I'm hoping to begin a dialogue with those who anticipate being able to obtain a prescription for cannabis in the near future. As one who has a qualifying medical condition I am very curious about obtaining as much information as I can about dispensaries, prescribing doctors, modes of delivery, etc. I even think it would be helpful at some point down the road if we could form a support group to inform and encourage one another. I'm not interested in your opinion on medical cannabis. I'm looking to connect with others who understand the amazing healing properties of this herb and plan to use it in the future. No condemnation, please.

I am wondering which medical conditions will be eligible for for prescription. I guess I can dig around and find that info somehow. If you have an easy website would you share it please.

Can't believe I saw this post. I've been asking the same question for a long time. My poor husband has many medical problems for which he is able to get prescription medication. But what about the pains he's got? He can hardly walk or lift his arms because of the pain. I asked his cardiologist's assistant about it and he couldn't answer that question. No one ever asked for it before he said. Should we ask the primary care physician? Would love to hear what others think about this.

I recall earlier this spring there was a doctor's office (Baylee Plaza?) that was advertising for medical cannabis. You have to have a 3 month relationship with a physician before he/she can prescribe cannabis, so they were suggesting making an appointment to start the process. If I recall correctly, it was on the online news site we're not supposed to mention.

This is somewhat off topic, but for what its worth I obtained considerable muscle pain relief taking 2 1000mg curcumin (aka turmeric) capsules per day. Ask your doctor about that maybe. I'd guess it would be less expensive than cannabis.

The Sacred Plant tapes has the word scenes incorrectly misspelled on the front and the small print says they are from NV.

I am skeptical.

I am a firm believer in the regular medical community.

I agree the misspelling is pretty sloppy but the production contains many interviews with MD's and research scientists around the world who have had great results in this new frontier of medicine.

I hope that false hope in it's curative powers don't cause people not to seek legitimate treatments.

Thank you for sending that link ... I just read it and see that people w/heart disease should not use it. Sadly, that is the case here. So I guess that answers my question. Thank you again.

It never ceases to amaze me, how many people who think marijuana is the devil drug...are self-medicating drunks or hooked on pain pills.

While I hope I never need either medically, I certainly don't see why opioids are handed out like candy...but pot is not even allowed to be prescribed by a medical doctor.

And as a far as that goes, why shouldn't it be legal for other than medical purposes?

Give me someone buzzed and laid back on pot over an aggressive drunk who wants to fight everyone...any time.
