Lake OB-GYN, say it together and it sounds like a spinoff of the old PBR Garrison Keillor radio program Lake Wobegon 🙄

Stu obviously you do not know anything in regards to Women’s Health it's OB and GYN

Actually I do and understand GYN business will continue but the other half not so much.

Women in TV may not go to an OB/GYN, but there are plenty of reasons why they should. Peak age for discovering breast cancer is 72 (who’s prescribing your mammograms?) and peak for ovarian cancer (which can only be found by palpation) is 75-79 - per my doctor.

No, I did not know that and I have an appointment in September. Do you know where she is going as I would like to continue seeing her. She is a wonderful doctor. Very disappointing that her patients have not been notified and would end up seeing someone else on staff when showing up for your appointment; bad practice as far as I'm concerned. Any info you find out would be most helpful.
Thanks again for posting this news about Dr. Wood.

It is always going to be challenging to find OB- gyn doctors and NP’s who are interested in a largely gynecology practice with an aging population as a huge proportion of their patients- younger ones especially want to deliver babies as well.

Dr. Lauren Britt also left Lake OB-GYN associates of Mid-Florida, LLC. I'm having trouble finding a female doctor also. When I do find one, they're not taking new patients. I think they are leaving because they prefer delivering babies.

When you find out where she's going, would you please post? I will travel to Ocala in order to keep her as my dr if that's going to be an option. Thank you!
