Try Google! Though Jacksonville is about 2 1/2 hrs. from here and has a commissary and probably has what you're looking for, due to their military presence there.

A VA Outpatient Clinic is on Rt. 42 in The Villages.
A VA Hospital is about 60 north in Gainesville. |

The Villages Health takes TriCare. I know there are different types of TriCare such as TriCare for Life for retirees but not sure if they take all Tricare. Call to find out.

If you are a military retiree, you have to have United Health in order to use TV Health clinics. If you have Medicare and Tricare for Life, United Health (a Medicare Advantage plan) is free.

Be aware that if you have Medicare or a Medicare Advantage Plan and TFL, TFL is secondary. The billing is thru Wisconsin Physician Services and not other Tricare services. Go to Tricare4u to see the details. For those of Medicare age there is a cost matrix shown at Tricare4u indicating what your co pays and deductibles could be.
Be aware that in the the TFL scenario your prescriptions should be linked together. In other words Medicare or MAP with TFL prescriptions resulting in 0 prescription costs most of the time. This TFL benefit applies to spouse also. |
