I’d glue it, duct tape it, zip tie it, bungee cord it, and even consider cutting the finger off, all before returning to the ER at whatever it is they now call the Villages hospital.

I have been taken there with a very slow heartbeat and they immediately handled it correctly and I was in intensive care there for over a week. A pacemaker was installed. That was before University of Florida at Gainesville took over running it. Most people have great faith in their medical professionals. That said, they are a small community hospital, but we have taken family members there several times and everything was handled well.
