, but his credentials are pretty impressive, he's also a shrink on top of being an expert neurologist.
the absolute BEST>? Dr. Nilafer Tanner @ Mayo jacksonville. my hubby got all his scans, spinal taps, & tests done there on site with Dr ootedrimmediate results. yes, it's far & quite expensive when you get down to the cost of travel, & a lot of the tests we had to pay out of pocket, --they just are not covered.
all the best to you & your hubby, may God Bless you both, oxo
Do you have a phone no for Dr Moore? Is he local?

Seriously .. yes if someone needs care and has to drive 90 minutes each way they figure out how to get there. I needed treatment at the Cleveland Clinic and that is a whole lot more than 90 minutes away from TV. I got myself there because I needed too. You do what you gotta do in life.

I recently went to Dr Smirnoff, office located near American Legion at corner of Rolling Acres and CR466.. He is abrupt but very good.

Wouldn’t waste my time there.
Never any good reviews on him.

totally agree, I was never impressed with him...you never learn much from him...but 'the frosting on the cake' was his wife, who runs the office...she is just a rude and downright disrespectful person...IMHO, she is far more suited for a job cleaning horse stalls somewhere up in Ocala

however, I'm not sure that the horses would enjoy having her around either

Well, my review is positive, so I guess that takes the "Never" out of the equation and it wasn't a waste of my time.

Dr. Deegan is not taking new patients. She is moving north in June. My husband is patient of hers. We are also looking for neurologist. We have been with Dr. Nieves who is now in Ocala. She is good but not the personality of Dr. Deegan.

Dr, Moore is with The Village Health. His name is Roland Moore. Office in Brownwood. Just look up The Village Health on the internet. They have the phone number. Husbands first visit with him will be in July. Referred by Dr. Deegan since she is leaving Village Health to move north. There is a Dr. Gaudier in Ocala that we saw for 3 years, then Dr. Nieves for 3 years and Dr. Deegan for 4 years. You can try Gaudier or Nieves if you can get an appointment. They are specialist in Parkinson's and Dementia.
