As far as effectiveness....I'd say it's another tool in the arsenal along with the massage stick, foam roller, lacrosse ball, inversion table, giant ball, etc. etc.

Glad some rechargeables are good. Crap shoot I guess. Mine has to be recharged EVERY DAY, and it doesn't work while recharging. Totally annoying.

Thanks

I purchased the Theragun, both the small portable size for travel and the regular size. I find it much more effective than some massagers I’ve had in the past. I use mine daily after getting out of bed. I have a terrible back from years of nursing lifting patients. I’d be lost without this massager. The charge lasts a very long time. There are 3 speeds. Yes it is expensive but we’ll worth it in my opinion. Good luck with whatever you choose.

No hype. They're very useful. Even my chiropractor uses it on visits

Someone had pm'd asking which massager I got on Amazon. This is the same one that my physical therapist used on me. Four speeds, multiple heads, and the charge lasts a long time:

Spend money for a good one and they are excellent

Hmmm... I can get several hours of use from mine... 7-8 hrs per charge

This is the one I purchased. Sadly, it's not currently available...

I got a Purewave by Pado 2 years ago. It was $80.00 and does relieve muscle cramps. Nice design as you can reach all areas of you body with it. You can’t with the gun style units.

Yes they work. If you can afford a massage chair that would be ideal!
