I'd like to keep this post active because I want to offer support and encouragement to those who are suffering with this terrible condition. Those who have written about their personal experience have contributed greatly and I hope this discussion will continue. Thank you all!

I do the one hour foot massage...it actually is 45 minutes with 15 minutes of a body massage over my clothes...my therapist is Yoyo...she doesn't speak to me at all. I believe she is not comfortable with her english but she is incredible...she does say thank you when I tip her though. I go every month. It so worth it my feet thank me everyday.

Coming back from NJ for a week and was looking forward to a massage from YoYo. I just called and she does not work there anymore. Do you know how the other Therapists stack up? The women on the phone indicated she has 3 great ladies.

[B]Highly recommend watching Classical Stretch by Essentrics on PBS. Miranda Esmonde-White is fantastic!
She explains each exercise and how the stretch will help improve flexibility.

I’ve been wearing Birks for 40 years. Imagine my shock to see my young teen granddaughters wearing them this summer! They’re back in style!

Massage and stretching are the key as well as good shoes.

Has anyone used Dr. Pinnamaneni at the Pain Clinic?

Brad and bob - youtube physical therapists

These YOUTUBE physical therapists explain the best ways to get rid of plantar faciitis and sciatica. Their approach includes the "Mckenzie Method".

These two guys seem a bit goofy but they know what works! Proceed with caution.

Thank you all for your advice and I am going to try everything that you have recommended. I have Vionic sneakers and OOFOS flip flops...I just ordered OOFOS sneakers also as I said I work on my feet all day. I am going back to the Foot Reflexology tonight. I just cannot have this pain again I am willing to try anything. Again thank you, this is what I needed...serious recommendations from those that feel my pain.

When my plantar was at it’s worst, I bought pair of OOFOS flip flops. Wore them constantly in the house, kept by side of bed in case I needed to get up at night. Of course, I had to do all the other steps to get relief but these really eased the pain when walking in the house. My plantar is gone now but I continue to wear my OOFOS.

My plantar faciitis has now developed into sciatica. Nothing seems to help.
