Looking for a primary care doctor. I would appreciate all recommendations.

If you're younger than 65 or if you have a UH Medicare Advantage plan, I would highly recommend a primary care physician at The Villages Health. They are excellent!! 30 or 60 min. appointments for your yearly physical. They have a patient portal... you should get a reply from the physician in 24 hours if you have questions. Many good physicians - Dr. Cloukey, Dr. Perez, Dr. Wood, etc.

Any recommendations for those of us with Medicare and a secondary? TVH will not accept Medicare patients other than The Specialty Unit. Looking for a good knowledgeable physician that really does an exam when you go for an appointment.

Dr Sundeep Shah at Premeire Medical is excellent. Dr Gegaj at Florida HV is the best, but think he has a waiting list. Lots of good drs outside of TV Health

Dr. Gegaj is very good but his time with each patient is also very limited.
