Default Prolia shot under medicare part B?

Has anyone had success finding a doctor who is willing to bill a prolia shot under medicare part B instead of the part D prescription plan which can entail a very expensive copay?Currently working with Premier Medical to find a referral as their corporate policy will not allow part B billing for this drug as to do so would require an initial cash outlay on their part. This is for my mom who lives with us in The Villages.

I get my Prolia shot at Florida Cancer Specialists and they bill Medicare part B. Just got my second shot Friday from them. Hope that helps.

I get my once per year Reclast infusion from Fl Cancer Specialists, also. It's billed to Medicare B.

The majority of commercial and Medicare plans cover Prolia®. The list price for Prolia® is $1,278.79* ,† per treatment every six months. Most patients do not pay the list price. Your actual cost will vary.Jan 17, 2020
