i'm sure you already know you need a neurosurgeon, not just an ortho man. can you tell us if it's minimally invasive, or do they need to really open you up? keep us posted, i may need one soon & have no idea who to choose

Dr Daniel Robertson in Ocala. Treating by back, non surgically, for 2 years. Two friends had surgery with excellent results.

If surgery is really needed. I was seek out a neuro surgeon for sure. However, if there is an exceptional
orthopedic surgeon in the area, I would consider.

Unsure at this point as to how severe my back issue is. I'm sure that I'll need to get an MRI to pinpoint my problem
I'll be arriving in the Villages early January. I need to find a reliable physician with whom I can start the process
Hopefully surgery will not be nessary

i'm using Dr. Rajashaker @ villages specialty. he is in pain management & can get you started with xrays, mri, etc. the location of the office in alongside traverse square near the wolfgang puck. i'm not sure what you have for insurance, you may need to look within your plan. BEST WISHES on treatments-hope you are able to soon find relief
