Default Rheumatoid Arthurites

Just curious if there are any other people that suffer from Rheumatoid "Nodules" growing on their feet as I have been to 2 different Rheumatoid "Specialist" that say there is nothing to be done as since I don't (yet) suffer from "joint pain" then there should be no meds given.

Started out about a year ago and grown large enough to become difficult to walk and now I see where there is another "nodule" growing and worry as to foot doctor has told me that removing them they would only grow back

Any suggestions as to another "Specialist" as putting it off just seems to get worse.

I would try a different foot doc if causing problems walking. A custom shoe insert might even help keep pressure off the painful areas

My wife has rheumatoid arthritis and has the same problem of nodules on her feet. Other than surgery there is nothing that can be done about it. They will grow back even after surgery. This is from two different rheumatologists, one at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville and one in Ocala. My wife also has nodules in her lungs and has to have supplemental oxygen to make up for the damage to her lungs from the nodules. Rheumatoid arthritis is a nasty illness that can be somewhat controlled by medications but these medications have serious side affects.

I take vitamin B3 for my arthritis. It works for me.

A friend of mine saw her finger nodules decrease when taking b3 (niacinamide). The dose from person to person is different. Dr Abram Hoffer used vitamin b3 in large doses for many reasons and people.

Read the book, “Niacin The Real Story” by Abram Hoffer

Thank you as I "will" try b3 as well as get a copy of the book. Seems you learn more from individuals rather than doctors. Thank you again
