Default Santa barbara tv health

We have been here almost a year and a half. Our healthcare has been provided by Dr Melidona at Santa Barbara. To say that we have been cared for properly is an understatement. Our Doctor and his staff throughout the Center have been perfect, a dream come true. We are grateful.

Now the first bump in the road. I have come down with several issues that need attention from specialists outside of the Santa Barbara building. I found out late on friday about these specialist's and started making contact on monday at about 10am. Three doctors offices in a phone dialing round robin with no appointment secured from any of them. Tuesday made contact with three very polite phone operators who promised the correct scheduler would call back by days end. No luck. I don't get treated like this when I call the Veterinarian for our dog. Maybe I'm a little edgy because of facing the unknown but all I'm asking for is a little respect and service. Hire more people and do what needs to be done to service your customers. Don't even try and sell me that this is a regional problem. This is a management problem. Fix it.

I feel sorry for those who are older and sicker than I am and couldn't have hung in there to make the attempt for as long as I did. I reached out to Santa Barbara to let them know what's going on. The delinquent doctors office have started making contact. What a miracle. The well oiled machine has saved the day again. Just answer the phone and respect us all we are the customer and collectively we say shape up.

P.S. Monday was not a holiday for the offices.

We go to the Santa Barbara Clinic...Dr. Pead is our provider. When we need a specialist...they call and make the arrangements for the specialist to call us. I even had my pcp call them back for a "stat" appointment recently and got in within a couple of days.

I’m preparing for Medicare as we speak. Will definitely go with a SUPPLEMENTAL plan. Too many horror stories for me. Sorry Nuckmeister...

Please contact your primary care doctor and let them know of the situation. They should ensure you get scheduled. My PCP usually has his staff contact the specialist’s office to call me to schedule, rather than have me contact them.

We use Villages Health and our PCP has contacted the specialists we needed and then the specialist called us back. On one occasion the call back didn't seem to happen. We called our PCP and the next day the specialist called us back.

Overall our care at Villages Health has been great, including specialists in Villages Health and outside of it. My wife had some very serious issues and I credit Villages Health with getting her thought them.

I go to Dr. Pead at Santa Barbara. When ever I need a specialist, the NP, Sylvia, contacts them and then they call me. Never a problem.

Where did I go wrong? Why haven't the other two offices contacted me? Both contact numbers and the email address they have are correct. The most important referral out of the three of did contact me yesterday which I am very grateful for. Historically I don't cry a tear unless it is real. I am surprised that the other two doctors offices have not contacted me or had the appointment with me as of 10/12 considering the referrals were put in late in the day on 10/6. It's all ok, I'm going to both offices tomorrow to see what the story is. I'm sticking with TVH because I'm guessing this is a snafu! As I mentioned the care at Santa Barbara is great. I'll report back tomorrow.

That's been our experience as well, as I stated in the earlier post. I guess there was a communication issue for the OP and hope they get it figured out.

Did you not contact your primary (at S.B.)??? I think they can resolve it for you!

Yes I let them know on Tuesday and also today and still nothing. Tomorrow face to face lets see what explanation I will get. I have the address of both others doctors in hand ready to go, peacefully.
