I have heard the same about Dr. Cook. From what I hear/read he has the experience and skills. Having said that, I have met with him and he seems to be very competent. He will be doing surgery on my left badly torn left rotator cuff on the 13Th.

Dr Cook repaired my broken wrist and he has done several shoulder repairs/replacements in our neighborhood.
Tough recovery for the replacement but he is very good and I'd recommend him.
