We recently moved to the Villages. I am looking for a good chiropractor. Can anyone recommend someone?

If you do a search on this topic you will find a number of recommendations.
I would advise to stay away from the Davis clinic.

Beware of chiropractors who try to sell you an expensive long term care contract. Pay by the visit.

Not always the case. Depends on an individual's problem. Not all situations are the same. Some require 2 or 3 times a week. Sometimes it also depends on what your insurance deems necessary and will allow.
There are always a few chiropractors who unfortunately only see the $, but there are some wonderful chiropractors who can help immensely.
I don't have the names of the Drs here in TV.......just wanted to mention the comment about long term care.....sometimes it's needed.

I agree that sometimes long term care is needed but I was taken in a room on my first visit and asked to sign a contract for over $4000 for care and was told no insurance would cover any of it. I left. Went to another chiro and my insurance covered all but a small co-pay. It pays to do some checking with your insurance co beforehand so you are educated about what to expect for charges.

Very true. Always need to check. I've been to a few dentists over the years who did the same. One was to the tune of around $17,000. ( I actually needed nothing done). I guess all occupations have a few bad apples.

As stated previously, stay away from Dr. Davis. All payments are requested up front. Anyone needing to advertise just about everyday in the newspaper should tell you something??? Best advise is word of mouth.....

Last week hurt my back and needed to find a doctor and called my son in law that does this in PA. He recommended Thomas Chiropractic Care in Belleview. Went to them on Monday and helped me out tremendously. Will go back to him again in need arises

Have been going to Dr. David Kuhn on 301 in Wildwood. Have sent others there also.

I only go back when I need to - no pressure to set up "X" appointments.

His number is: 352-748-1125

I would highly recommend Davis Clinic of Chiropractic. Paying upfront actually eliminated me having to deal with my insurance company altogether. The staff is very friendly and before receiving treatment I had a hard time walking. The initial investment is most certainly worth if considering we are talking about our health. At my age, I could not put a price on my health. I have enrolled into Supportive care and have had nothing short of a wonderful experience at the clinic.
